We stage homes so buyers can picture their life there, and fall for it.

Our approach goes beyond traditional staging. We design balanced, current rooms with soft textures, interesting patterns and uncluttered space, so each home shows its best features and still feels warm.

Every furniture arrangement and accessory is chosen for the home in front of us. The goal is simple: more buyers who connect with the property, stronger offers and a faster sale.

Our story

Encore Staging Services was founded by Vanessa Nielsen, owner and principal designer. She grew up surrounded by creativity: her mother was a beauty stylist and her father a professional tailor. As a child she sewed dresses and decorative pillows for herself and her friends, and as a teenager she styled her friends for proms and weddings.

Before Encore, Vanessa built a career in marketing and public relations in the professional beauty industry, and she earned her real estate license. After helping her broker stage homes in Santa Monica, she came home to Silicon Valley to start a family and launch Encore.

Dependable service and on-time installs are part of how we work. In the early days, Vanessa chose to induce labor so she could personally complete a client’s installation as promised, and she was back at work eight days later with her newborn.

Today Encore is the highest-ranked staging company in the greater Bay Area.

Designer walkthrough
Your designer walks every room to plan the furniture, art and layout that bring out the home’s full potential.
Step 3
Staging day
Our crew installs and styles the home, usually in one to three days, so it is ready for photos and showings.
Step 4
Removal
When the home sells or the term ends, give us 3 business days’ notice and we’ll schedule removal at a time that works for you.
